CIR LONDON - Who we are

CIR London is the London branch of Washington-based Center for International Relations. CIR London believes that attempting to see all perspectives on international issues is the key to understanding the dynamics of contemporary international behavior. Only with an informed understanding of global politics, economics and culture can policy-makers and practitioners make the best possible decisions and take the best actions which affect our engagement with the rest of the world.

Tapping into our global source of international affairs scholars, practitioners and policy makers, CIR London attempts to find out what is really going on in our world, with a UK perspective. Comprised of young professionals (25 – 35) based throughout Europe, we share a common interest in international affairs, education and increasing understanding of world affairs through 2 main activities:


Events

CIR London offers a unique opportunity for young professionals and academics to learn, debate, question and contribute in an upcoming program of hot debates, seminars, roundtables, interview forums, networking events and conferences covering the global issues affecting us most.


Publication

CIR London’s flagship print publication “The Forum” presents international affairs in a lively, accessible, and original format, tackling the hottest international topics, from politics and development to economics and culture.
